To the Right Honorable the Lord Mayor and the rest of the
Worshipful Justices of the Peace for the City of London in their Sessions
Assembled April 1776

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint George Hanover Square in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order or pass Warrant under the hands
and Seals of Frederick Bull< no role > and William Plomer< no role > Esquires Two of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City of London and Liberties
thereof (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Thirtieth
day of March One Thousand seven hundred and seventy six Jane
Doran
< no role > the Widow of John Doran< no role > was removed and Conveyed from
and out of the parish of Allhallows London wall in the City of London
to the said parish of Saint George Hanover Square in the County of
Middlesex as the place of her last legal Settlement.

Your Petitioners thinking themselves aguired
by the said Order or pass Warrant of the said
two Justices, Appeal to this Court against
the same, and desire you will pleasd to
appoint a Day for the hearing & determining
thereof, and that all Persons Concerned may
then attend.
