Middlesex to wit

The Information of John Routh< no role > and William
Holmer< no role > taken before me this 1st. day
of April 1771

Who being on oath severally say and first the said John
Routh for himself says that he is a Garter Weaver and
lives in Petticoat Lane that on the 25th day of last Month about
7 o Clock a Quantity of Knee Garters in two Boxes was feloniously taken
out of his Shop in Petticoat Lane aforesaid. and thefirstsaid
William Holmer< no role > for himself says that on the 25th day
of March about 7 o Clock in the Evening aforesaid he was a Person now Present who
calls himself Solomon Levi< no role > take a Box out of the
aforesaid Mr. Routh's Shop in Petticoat Lane afore said
in Company with other Persons and ran away with the
same.
