thereof at their General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order of removal under the hands and Seals
of the said Lord Mayor and Robt. Alsop< no role > Esqr bearing date
the seventh day of December one Thousand seven hundred and
fifty Six William Kent< no role > Lucy< no role > his Wife and their two Children
William< no role > aged Eight Years & Benjamin< no role > aged six Years were
removed from the Parish of St. Botolph Aldgate in he said City
to the said Parish of St. Mathew Bethnal Green as the Place of
their last legal Settlement.

That Your Petitioners and Appellants apprehending
themselves to be agreived by the said Order of the said Lord Mayor
and Robt. Alsop< no role > do Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners and Appellants therefore humbly pray
this Court will Appoint a day this present Session for the sd
Churchwardens and Overseers of the [..] St. Botolph Aldgate and
all other Persons concerned to Attend this Court to hear
and abide the Judgment and determination of the same
Court touching the said Appeal and that Your Petitioners and
Appellants may be relieved as this Court shall see Meet.

And Your Petitioners and Appellants shall ever pray.
