Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint
James Clerkenwell
in the County of Middlesex
exhibited their petition & appeal to
this Court setting forth that by virtue of a pass warrant or order under the Hands &
Seals of two of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the City of London
bearing date the

aged thirteen years by a former, wife and Benjamin< no role >

the said Esther were removed from and out of the parish of Saint Botolph
Aldersgate

to the Said parish of Saint James Clerkenwell
as the place
of their last legal Settlement whereby they conceived themselves aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the petitioners it is ordered that the benefit of their
appeal be Saved unto them and that the bearing and determination of the Same be
and the Same is hereby adjourned unto the next General Session of the peace to
be holden for this City on Monday the twelfth day of September now next ensuing
as eight of the clock in the morning.
