The Humble Petition and prayer of Matthew
John

Sheweth


That on the Twenty First Day of September last year
Petitioner was Committed Prisoner together with One James Sleep< no role > to
Clerkenwell, Bridewell in the County of Middlesex by John Fielding< no role >
Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County
as Oath of William Backhouse< no role > for Mrs Prision of High Treason
in Counterfeiting a Certain Piece of Gold Coin called a Moidore
And now is a Prisoner can fined in Newgate under the same Charge

Your Petitioner therefore Most Humbly Prays
That at this Present Session of Goal Delivery
of Newgate holden for the City of London and
County of Middlesex he may be Tryed, Bailed
or Discharged Pursuant to the Statute in
that Care Made and Provided.

And your Petitioner Shall Pray Etc
