The Information of Jonathan Brown< no role > of Lough-borough
in the County of Leicester Hopes taken before me this
11d day of July 1757 .

Who being upon Oath says that in November or December last he
receiv'd a Promisery Note Enclosed in a Letter from a Person now Present who calls himself
Edward Hill< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. which said Note being now Produced and shew'd to him, He this Informant
says is the Same that he received in the Enclos'd Letter, And this Informant
says that he soon afterwards came to London and Produced the said Note to
William Dover< no role > who was the Pretended Drawer, and upon this Informants asking him
if that was his Note the said William Dover< no role > absolutely Denied it in the prisoner
of this Informant and the said Dovers Maid Servant,
