Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Giles

who is a Soldier
Abroad in his Majesty's Service and their two Children Valentine< no role >
aged four Years and James< no role >
aged Two years are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
Isaac Kidgate< no role >
and other Circumstances that the last legal
Settlement of her Said Samuel Clark< no role >
in the Said Parish
of Saint James at Clerkenwell
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Elizabeth Clark< no role >
and two Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint James
And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent
These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles

from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
Saint James
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of their Who is and hereby required
to Received and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this 31st day of July
