of October last Joseph prescot< no role >
of the Parish of Islington the County if Middlesex Carman
in Driving a Cart with Four Horses Cross Ludgate Street the
said Horses and Cart Or One of them Run Over the said Susanna
Abbott and Factured her Leg Under which Calamity this
Deponents Mother now Languisheth And this Deponent
further Saith That he Entred into a Recognizance to Prosecute
the said Joseph Prescot< no role >
at the Next Sessions of the Peace for the said City of London for the
Offence aforesaid and Richard Neale Badcock< no role > and Robt. Nichols< no role >
Entred into a Recognizance
to appear and give Evidence of the fact before Stated at the said
Next Sessions for said City And this Deponent further Saith
That he Intended to have Proceed in the Prosecution of the
said Josephat the then next
Ensuing Sessions According to the Condition of his said
Recognizance had this Deponant known the Nature of
such Proceedings But being al together Unacquainted therein this
Deponent Omitted to do the same And this Deponent further
Saith That the Delay he has made in such Prosecution was
not by any Connivance in Order to Avoid bringing the said
Offender to Justice Nor did the same by any means Arise from
the Contempt of this Honourable Court And this Deponant
further Saith That in Order to Recover an Ample Satisfaction
for the Injurys the said Susanna Abbott< no role > hath Sustained as
aforesaid She the said Susanna Abbott< no role > hath been Advised to
Proceed by Action at Law against the said Joseph
And this Deponant hath Applyed to
an Attorney for that Purpose
