Cristopher Woodroffe< no role > of of the Parish of St Andrew Holborne in ye County of Middx
Baker maketh Oath and saith that he this Depont. this present day went to
Bear key market London in order to buy Oates, And upon Inquiry into
the Price of Midling English or British Oates found the Comon Market
Price thereof to Exceed Sixteen Shillings per Quarter, And this Depont.
further saith that he did this day at Bear Key market aforesaid
give Eighteen Shillgs & Six pence per Quarter for Midling British Oates and
Could not buy them for less, And this Depont further saith that he is now
Seized of a Freehold Estate of the Clear Yearly Value of twenty pounds
and upwards over and above all Charges And Reprizes, And this Depont.
further saith that he is now a House Keeper in Liquor pond Street
in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborne in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid And this Depont. further saith that he is Skilful in the Prizes
of Oates And that he is not a Corn Chandler Meal man Factor
Merchant or Importer of Corn or any way Interested in any
Oates to be Imported
