This Court having taken into their Consideracon
the landable presentmt. of the Grand Jury for this
City, and the many Imoralities Nusances and
Inconveniencies therein specified occasioned by
the long & contemptuons Disobedience of the
Precepts of the Magistrates of this City issued
out for suppressing the same, Scavengers & other Officers,
who shall be hereafter found Negligent or remise in their
Duly touching any of the premisses contained
in the said Presentmt., or shall hereafter
presume to neglect the Execution of such
precepts wherewith they shall be charged,
shall be prosecuted with the utmost Severily
according to Law; & to prevent any Excuse for Want of Notice
