This Exaiant saith That on Sunday the 17th. instant
abt. nine of the Clock in the Evening the this Exaiant
going thro. St. Pauls Church Yard
towards Fleestrt

a Strange Man ran agt. him for which reproveing
him he gave him ill languages & this Exaiant
late him his deserved tolicktbe hicks but being
by his Friend [..] disswaded from it he went
off & the Stranger followed him & told this
Exaiant that he had afronted him & now it was
his turn & so strickwitzhim witz his Stick or
came & this Exaiant returned the Blows but by
the Interposicon of his said Friends they were
parted, but the Stranger being encouraged by
the populare followed this Exaiant again who
had rest the way to the South side of St. Pauls
Church Yard
when the Other came & renewed
the Stick Fright & knockt this Exaiant down
& beat him violently down & upon his getting
up & continuing the fight he was again knockt
down near the Kings Arms Tavern
thereas
thereby became so so stunned & stupified that
he knew not what passed afterwards till he
