his Coate whereupon ye. sd. Wm. Rice< no role > who sat next to
to the said Edward Newton help'd him up and
pinnd his Coate and this Exait. saith that the said
Mr. Lister soon after went to bed in the sd. house &
left the sd. Edwd. Newton Wm. Rice and Nicholas
Parker< no role > in ye. Kitchen where they had sat all the
Evening and saith that in a little time after ye. sd.
Mr. Listers going to bed the sd. Edwd. Newton went
out of the sd. house & was lighted by one of the Boys
belonging to the sd. house but imediately return'd to
the sd. house and knock'd at the Door & this Exait.
opening the said Door the said Edwd. Newton< no role > told
this Exait. he had lost a Bag of mony containing
above one hundred pounds & went imediately to
the sd. Wm. Rice & Nicholas Parker< no role > & told them he
had lost ye. mony aforesd. andthatsaith that the sd.
Wm. Rice pulled out of his pocket a pocket Book
and flung it on ye. Table and said daimn it
weld give him his pocket book and the sd. Edwd.
Newton called for a Constable upon wch. the sd. Wm.
Rice & Nicholas Parker< no role > imediately went out of
the sd. houseandinto a Coach wch. waited for ym.
at the Door
