The Exaiacon of Thomas Read< no role > taken
this 13th. day of January Anno Dui
1707 .

This Exaiant saith That he came to London
about halfe a yeare since out of Wiltshire , and that
he hath lodged over since att the house of Mr. Burgis
a Porter in Tahls Ally , and this Exaiant further Saith
that the Pistoll which was found upon him when taken
was given him by a Strainge Man att the White horse
June in Old Street , on Satturday last, and that he knoweth
not the person that was taken up with him, but mett
with him accidentally att the White horse aforesaid
which person sent this Exaiant on an Errand into Forestreet
for some tobaccon for him and paid him for goeing
