St. William Coles< no role > of London Knight maketh Oath
that on or about the thirteth day of September last One.
thousand Six hund Ninety and Seven, He had Loaded
for his own Accompt at south sheilds in the County
of Durham on board the ship or Vessell called the
Richard of Sunderland James Roxby< no role > Master Sixty
two Tonns of White salt Containing Two thousand
foure hundred and Eighty Bushells for which the
Duely is Paid according to ye late Acts of Parliament which said shy or Vessell proceading
with her said Loading of salt for London was as he does
believe on or about the Tenth of this Instant
October perrished and lost at sea with all the aforesaid
white salt
