Charles King< no role > a Watchman belonging to Coleman Street Ward
London maketh Oath that he being bound in a Recognce. of
£20 before Sr. Robt. Clayton< no role > Knt . to prosecute at the Sessions
of peace one Thomas Salmon< no role > & Edward Hanson< no role > for
throwing Squrbbs on the Lord Majr day last and makeing
a Riot in the Streets and assaulting one John Currey< no role >
Constable & this Depont. & other watchmen,for endeavouring
[..] That the paid Currey the Constable would
not prosecute the said Salmon & Hanson but did on their
behalfe tall this Deport in the Watchhouse that he would
give him a Crown if he would agree the matter wth. then
& not [..] prosecute And this depont refuseing, [..] On Monday
last in Guildhall the sd [..] against preferred to give him Ten Shillings for
himselfe & two Shillings for his two Witnesses and a
treat if he would agree the matter But this Depont not
complying wth. his offer [..] the said Curry would
not Suffer him to Watchmen Monday night last and
threatens this Depont. that he shall not be imployed as a
Watchman any more upon those Nights the said Curry
watches which are two Nights in a week

and not prosecute them
