of the peace for the sd. City & Libtyes This
Xiijth. day of Aprill Anno Dui 1693

Who Saith That She being Fellow Servant with one Thomas
Mitchell
< no role > at the Lord Torringtons, he intired her to robb her
mistress of Lane (he knowing before that she dealt therein)
& told her, that her Mr. & Mrs. world never find her again
And that one Grace Dimpsey< no role > als Sympson< no role > (A Cosen of his
newly come out of the County) would dispose of the goods.

And on A monday before the Robbery was comitted ye
Sr. Mitchell brought ye Sd. Grace Dimpsey< no role > & one Mr. Collingwood
to the sun Ale house in Carter Lane . to consult about effecting
their design, And Mitchell askt this Exaiant where the Lace
lay, who reply'd in A Closett in the Cellar; That ye said
Mitchell was for comitting the Robbery that or ye night
following, But they came to no conclusion yen.
on thursday after ye sd. Dempsy alone came to this Examint
& they Agreed to effect it the Saturday night after
Accordingly on Saturday following ye first of Aprill instant
between ten & eleaven at night, the Sd. Dempsy & one Margt.
Palmer
< no role > came, & this Exaiant lett them in at the Cellar door
& ye sd. Dempsey broke open ye Closett door, & took thereout A
great Pcell of Bond Lace of the vallue of one hundred pounds
as she beleives, which ye sd. Dempsoy & Palmer carry'd & away
And this Examint. went with them to one Mrs. Relfe's houses
in Lether Lane, from whence they went to an Alehouse nere
there, & then the sd. Relfe took A pide of the Lane & Pawn'd
it for ten Shillings, & provided Lodging for them all, wherein they
staid till the monday morning following, At which time the
sd. Dempsey sent for Mrs. Relfe, & gave her two pieces of the
Late, to pawn, for A Manta & Petticoat for the sd. Dempsey to
wear; which Mrs. Relfe Presently fetcht from A Broker's, But
Mrs. Dempsey not liking them, they [..] were [..] sent back
& the Lane brought again to Mrs. Dempsey; who presently went
away & tooke the Lace with her. And this Exaiant doth beleive
That one Boys A Broker in Midle Row in Holbourn, was
the Pson of whom the Manta & Petticoat were borrowed
And further saith, that the sd. Dempsey hath disposed
of
