The Informacon of Edward Davis< no role > of
the Pish of St. Gyles Cripple Gate London
Wever taken upon Oath this 17th. day of
March Anno Dom 1692

Who sayes that about Three of the Clock this
day this Informant was goeing in Woodstreete
London in the Open Streete, and then had a peece
of Silver fring in his pockett which he was
carrying to Mr Charles Hosiers< no role > Shopp And
neere Cripple Gate a boy who goes by the same
of Charles Swindall< no role > togeather with two other
boyes did Croud this Informt. and imediately
he found that the said Fring was taken out
of his pockett and presently tooke after the said
Three boyes and Psueing the now prisoner Charles
Swindall
< no role > he saw somthing undr his Coate, this
Informt. persued him Crying out Stop thiefe
and the said Charles in greate hast fled and in ye
Psuit this Informt. saw the said Prisoner
drop the said Fring in the streete, which was
taken upp and delivered to this Informt. but
this Informt. did follow the Prisoner till he
did apprehend him.
