Mr. St. Leger Sayes that Mr. Groves came to his
Lodgings and desired him to gett the Affidavits that
were swere, against Mr.Row, from Mr. Recorders
Clerke, for that Row was in such a feare of these
Affidevits, that hee told her they would agree if
that could be done, And Mr Davis came likewise
to Mr. St. Legers Lodgings And said I wish there
was nothing of these Affidavits, for Rowe was
soe, Mallitious, that he was afraide hee would
Sweare any thing, And Davis said he thought
they should agree it, for that they had beene
togeather severall tymes since the Affidavits
were made, upon the same And I desire there
might be noe more made of the Affidavits
but Davis Said if Mrs. Groves did appeard
she would be Comitted And that Mr. Row &
and they were to meete before the Record &
and Row was to Cleere them (or words to that)
effect;
