Who Saith That he being apphrd. one of the Guards
at the Inner Temple Hall doore, one Richard
Merrideth< no role > on monday night last the 20th. instant, did
presse upon the Guards very earnestly to enter into
the Hall, But being resisted by them Severall
times, the Said Merrideth, having his Sword in
the Scabberd in his hand, Sword God damn
you, I'le give it you, & with that thrust the
end of the Scabberd (his Sword being in it)
into the right Eye of John Pascall< no role > one of
the Said Guards, of which the sd Pascace
is Sine dead.
