The Information of Joseph Bush< no role > Servant to John
Clarke
< no role > oppositeof Red Lion Street Whitechapel Brazier
and Mary Whiteman< no role > of Castle Street in the said Parish
Widow taken this 15th day of July 1789

The said Mary Whiteway< no role > on her oath saith this about noon she
saw the person present who says her name is Elizabeth Thompson< no role >
come out of the shop of the said John Clarke< no role > with a Copper Tea
kettle under Cloak that she went into said Shop and asked if
they had not lost anything. that being told the said Woman
was gone up Castle Street The people in the said Shop
pursued her

Joseph Bush< no role > on his oath saith hearing the Alarm of the
Woman [..] having stole a kettle he with John
Bolwor pursued and took her in Castle Street near with the
Copper tea kettle produced of his said Masters of the Value of
nine Shillings

Elizabeth Thompson< no role > says as she was coming from her
own home this day between the hours of twelve and one
she met a Young woman who she did know and asked her to go
into the shopwith her to buy a pair of Buckles says they Burt and Belwer found
the Copper Tea kettle on a Dunghill up a Gateway doth not know
the place that they meaning Bush and Balwer took it up and let
the Young woman go and took her

Taken refused to sign the said Declaration this 15 July 1789
