The Informations of Bartholomew Grogan< no role >
Edward Edwards< no role > John Taylor< no role > and John
Thwaites
< no role > taken upon Oath this 20th. Day of
May 1789.

Who upon their several Oaths say and first the said
Bartholomew Grogan< no role > for himself saith that he is employed
as a Watchman in the Parish of St. George Bloomsbury that
on Friday Night last being the Fifteenth Day of May Instant
he had being calling the half hour past Eleven oClock the
Prisoner William Green< no role > passed by him near the Yorkshire
Grey Publick House in Hart Street Bloomsbury with the
Piece of Cloth upon his Shoulder now produced & which was
wrapt in his Coat [..] that he followed him laid hold
of him and said what have you got there upon which
the Prisoner threw down the Piece of Cloth along with his
Coat and ran away that he then sprang his Rattle and in
Consequence thereof Edward Edwards< no role > the next Watchman
bearing such Rattle & observing the Prisoner William
Green
< no role > running away pursued him

Edward Edwards< no role > saith that he is a Watchman
in the Parish of St. George Bloomsbury that on Friday
Night the Fifteenth of May Instant about half an Hour
after eleven oClock as he was standing near his Box he
heard a Noise & heard a Watchman's Rattle spring upon
which he immediately ran into the middle of the Street
and observed the Prisoners William Green< no role > and Charles
Pinckstone
< no role > coming along the Street that he watched the
Prisoner Charles Pinckstone< no role > first & said to him you stand
still and then he said to the other Prisoner William
