The Informations of Sir George Staunton< no role >
Baronet and John Beck Heather< no role > taken
before me this 4th. Day of May 1789

Who being upon Oath severally say, and first the said
Sir George Staunton for himself says that the prisoner
Leonard Wilson< no role > has been a Servant in his House about a
Mouth, that the Gold Watch now produced by said John
Beck Heather
< no role > is the property of Lady Staunton and
as he verily believes has been stolen in his House since
yesterday at which Time the said Wilson was in his house
And the said John Beck< no role > Heather for himself saith
that the prisoner Wilson came to his shop this Morning
and sold him a Tea spoon for Two Shilling and three penceAnd
went away out of his front Shop into the Court,thatwhen he was
called by his Servant in the other Shop, upon his
comming to him found said Leonard Wilson< no role > with him
that in said Leonard Wilsons Hand was the Gold
Watch now produced who said that he wanted to by
a French Gold Watch like that now produced and
which he then held, tha Informant took hold of
said Watch and desired to look at it, that Informant
then open'd said Watch and asked him the Markers
Name andwerwhere it was made when Wilson
replied at Dublinthat Informant then asked him
what he gave for it when he replied that he had had it ever
since he was four Years oldthat said Wilson attempted
