Who being upon Oath saith, that about half an hour past Four
o Clock this afternoon The persons now present Who calls herself Mary Johnson< no role >
in Company with one Ann Smith< no role >
,
came to his Shop that the said Ann Smith< no role >
bought Ten Yards of brown
Sattin for which she paid him Two Pounds seventeen Shillings and
six pence; that before they went out of the Shop, he Missed two pieces
of Sattin that on his making enquiry after them and looking about
for them he saw the two pieces of Sattin Now produced (which were the two
pieces had then missed) drop from the Cloaths of the said Johnson and
that he verily believes, that the said Johnson had feloniously stolen and
Concealed the same, with an intent to Carry the off
