taken before me this 4th. day of
December 1787

Who being upon Oath saith that a Chesnert
cropped Mare which he hath just now seen in
the Possession of Samuel Mayner< no role > now present
he let to hire on Tuesday last was sevenigth
the 27th. of November to a person now present
who calls himself D'ary Wentworth< no role > who was
to give him five shillings for the days hire but
did not mention to what place he was going
