Joseph Capps< no role >

Joseph Capps< no role > of Oxford Street in the Parish of Saint
Mary lebone Gentleman maketh Oath and Saith that
he this Deponent Came down to the Old Bailey with
an Intention to have Appeared against the Prisoner
upon the Prosecution and is now ready to Appear
against the Prisoner but the only reason why
he was too late was on Occasion of looking after One
Richard Townstrend< no role > who is the Witness to Prove the
Felony against the Prisoner And this Deponent
further Saith that he was ignorant of the Matter
Coming or the Bill of Indictmt. so early this
Morning on Account of the Bill of Indictment
being only found or Saturday Evening.
