Saturday night about the hour of nine as he was coming from his said Masters to his
said Fathers he passed the Prisoner who says his Name is Daniel Keefe< no role >
near to Vinegar
Lane
in the Back Lane
on the North side of Sun Savern field
and directly after the said Daniel

over took him between Vinegar Lane
and Brook Street
and bed this Informant Stop
and deliver his Watch and mony The said Daniel having a Knife in his hand - Says he took his
Watch out of his Pocket to deliver but hearing some people coming along he did not immediately
deliver his Watch although it was in his Hand. when the said Daniel Keefe< no role >
seized hold
of his Watch and swore if he did not deliver it to [..] him he would cut his Throat
and then took the watch by force out of his hand and left this Informant who followed
him calling out Thieves and Murder several persons in sight he overtook him knocked him down with his stick,
says he kept pursuing and engaging him until Assistance came and secured him
