taken upon Oath before me William Blackborow< no role >

. One of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County this 22nd. day of
March 1786
.
This Informant upon his Oath saith that on this
day He was at work in a field adjoining the Back Road
Islington
That at about the hour of Three O Clock in
the Afternoon He saw the Prisoner George Woodward< no role >
get into a Waggon that was going towards London
and at the same time George Roberts< no role >
the other Prisoner
and another Person not yet taken Ran underneath the
Tail of the Waggon and the said George Woodward< no role >
then
Threw out a Small Bundle tyed up in a Yellow
Handkerchief which was Catched by one of them
They all then went over the Fields And this
Informant further saith that about Six O Clock the said
George Woodward< no role >
and the other Person not yet taken came
past this Informant who Immediately followed them
to the George Public House

where the two
Prisoners were taken
