St. Mary Whitechapel Labourer taken the 15th. day of Feby 1786
Before us John Staples< no role > and Sam Hawkins< no role > Esqr . Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County on Oath

Charles Dorman< no role > Says about three Weeks ago is certaintoit was the
Evening when William Parker< no role > of Whitechapel High Street
Oylman had a Cask of Oyl taken from his door he went
with Joseph Parker< no role > about the hour of Eight [..]
to Wentworth Street to the house of Viner Cook< no role > says he
heard a knocking in the said house and soon after a
noise like the bursting of a Cask says he went to one
of the Doors of the said house and knocked at it That
The said Viner Cook opened said Door and appeared
much out of breathand factSays he felt his Belly
which felt wet and was dirty - That said Joseph
Parker
< no role > went for a Light during which time the said
Viner Cook made his Escape Says he went with
Joseph Parker< no role > into the House where they found a
Cask had been Cut and the Oyl [..] draining out and
soon after William Parker< no role > came to them and
declared the said Cask and Oyl to be his property
and the same that was taken from his Door that
Evening and pointed to this Informant his Mark
on the Staves of the said Cash
