Sweeper Saith That the Lodger in the same
House with HigsonHer Apartment is up
Two Pair of StairsThat Higson Lived
in the Lower ApartmentThat she
hath seen the Father Beat the Deceased
many timesSometimes with his Hands
and sometimes with a Poker And hath seen
him Kick the DeceasedThat the last
time Informant saw him Beat the Deceased
was last Wednesdayhe hit him one
Blow near his Ears with his flat hand
That the Deceased did not fall
Saith That at that time Informant was
in the Passage wch. runs by the side of the
House all under One Roof

That she did not see that the Deceaseds
Hare was Bloody or that any Injury
had been done to it or to his Eyes on Wednesday
That she saw the Deceased again on Friday
last when she Alighted her Candle he was
then sitting by the Fire side And his Face Appeared
Red near his EyeThat she does not
Remember to have seen that redness on
Wednesday nor did not hear the Child
Cry after WednesdayThat the Father
left his House on Sunday at six oClock and did not in return
