Westminster to wit


The Information of William Flowlet< no role > and
John Bolney< no role > taken before me this 2d: Day
of January 1784.

Who being on Oath each of them say and First the said
William Flowlet< no role > for himself saith that He is a Cutter Lodges at the
Barley Mow in the Broad Sanctuary in the Parish of Paint Margaret
Westminster that this Morning about One oClock He this Informant
went into the House of Joseph Proffe the Northumberland Arms in
the Broad Sanctuary aforesaid that there He said Two Women who
call themselves Elizabeth James< no role > and Elizabeth Wheeler< no role > that He this
Informant drank with the said Women and then went with them
to their Lodgings at No 45 in Great Pye Street white He this
Informant was in the Room with them the said Elizabeth Jones< no role >
held Him this Informant down on a Bed in the Room while the
said Elizabeth [..] Wheeler< no role > took off his Cloaths and out of his
Left hand Breeches Pocket took Silver to the amount of Four Shil-
lings and six pence that He this Informant ran down Stairs into
the Street and call'd the Watch

And the said John Botney< no role > for himself saith that
He is a Watchman in Peter Street in the Parish of Saint Margarets
Westminster that about Two oClock this Morning the heard somebody
call came from that He saw the said William Howlet< no role > with only
his Breeches and Shirt on that the said William Howlet< no role > said
He had been robbed of his Cloaths by Two Women that He this
Informant went up one pair of Stairs forward and saw the
said Elizabeth Jones< no role > and Elizabeth Wheeler< no role > both undressed and in
Bed that He this Informant searched for the Cloaths found some
of them others appeared to him to have been tied in particular
a pair of Buckles found under the Head of the Bed which had
been taken out of the said William Howlets Shoes that He this
Informant search'd for Money but found none that one of the
said Women abused him very much.
