Who being on Oath say and first the said Michael Matthews< no role >
for himself says that a Trunk now produced containing
a great Quantity of Wearing Apparell in the Property
of his said Master and this Informant, and which said
Trunk and Wearing Apparell were last Night Stolen
from behind his said Master's Carriage in Grosvenor
Square< no role >
by cutting the Straps
which fastened said Trunk
And the said Edward Manley< no role >
says that about 8 o'Clock
last Night this Informant saw a Person now present
who calls himself John Duflo's Standing under this
Informants Window in Brooks Mens with the Trunk
now produced behind him, and suspecting he had stolen
the same this Informant Secured both him and the
Trunk likewise.
