The Information of John Harding< no role >
Joseph Clark< no role > John Heather< no role > and John
Atkins
< no role > taken before me this 29th. day of
November 1783

Who being upon Oath say and first the said John
Harding
< no role > says that he is Servant to Sir George Onesiphorus< no role >
Paul of Charles Street Berkley Square That on Tuesday
Night last by his Martin Direction he carried a Bundle
containing a Diamond Pin and a Shirt marked O.P. now
produced together with other Wearing Apparel to Boodles
Club House in Saint James's Street for his Master to Dress
and put the same down on a Chair in the HallThat
he left them there and returned in about ten Minutes
when they were stolen awayAnd the said Joseph Clark< no role > says
that a person now present who calls himself John Harvey< no role >
alias Seagrave last Night offered said Diamond Pin to this Informant
for Sale for six shillingsThat not knowing the value of
the same he went with said John Harvey< no role > alias Seagrave
to Mr. Heather Pawn broker in Long Acre who stopped [..] it
The said John Heather< no role > says that said Joseph Clark< no role > brought
last Night to this Informants Shop saidRingPin and said
that it had been offered to pawn with him for One Guinea
on which he stopped the same and desired said Clark to
bring to him the Man who so offered it to PawnThat
in about twenty Minutes after said Clark returned and
brought with him said John Harvey< no role > alias Seagrave
whom this Informant then took into Custody And the
