County of Middlesex , this 28th, Day of October 1783.

Who Confesseth that about seven o'Clock in the Evening of
Thursday the Second of October Instant he this
Examinant did feloniously Steal, in a Field at
Frier's Place, in the said Parish of East Acton , a
Grey Mare belonging to the said Francis Hobler< no role >
and which said Grey Mare this Examinant rode
to Warwick and offered to dispose of her to Samuel
Dyke
