County Law Hationer Taken the 29th. day of
Septeber 1783.
Who upon her oath Saith That she lodges at the
House of Mr. Thomas Dyke< no role >
who keeps a Chandlers
Shop in Bell Yard
aforesaid That about the hour of Ten
o Clock at Night of Thursday the 25th. of September
Instant she came down Hairs to answer a person
who Knocked at the door of the said Mr. Dykes (He
the said Mr. Dyke then being in Bed) And upon opening
the door this Informant took in a parcell for the said
Mr. Dyke which came from Mr. Wells Haberd< no role >

in Fleet Street
After which this Informant made
fast the Street Doorby Botling it and Pushed the
Lock in the Staple, the Spring of the Lock
being broke
and then went to her Apartment and Neither this Informant
Nor her said Husband or Family went out of the said
Apartment untill the next Morning about 7 o Clock.
