Edgware Row in the said County Labourer
taken before me this 3rd. day of January 1783

Who being upon Oath says and first the said Bright
Hemming
< no role > says that six Weather Sheep which he on Sunday
last saw in the Possession of the said Joseph Errington< no role > are
this Informants property and as he verily believes were stolen
out of his Field near Kilburn on Saturday night last And
the said John Maxcy says that he examined his Masters Sheep
on Friday last about one o Clock when there were Sixty
Two and on the Sunday Morning following he missed six
of themAnd the said Joseph Errington< no role > says that on
Saturday Night last about 9 o Clock he apprehended a
person now present who calls himself Richard Philimore< no role >
who was driving a Cart on the Road from Paddington
towards TownThat on the said Richard Philimore< no role >
being [..] asked by this Informant where he had come
from he said from WatfordThat he this Informant
then got into said Cart and found the said six Sheep
thereinThat when first this Informant stopped the Cart
at Paddington Gate and told said Philimore he was
determined to search it said Philimore jumped down
and ran away but was afterwards secured by this
Informants ServantAnd the said Sarah Fennel< no role > says
that between the hours of three and four o Clock on
Saturday last the said Richard Philimore< no role > and two other
persons now present who call themselves Daniel Oakley< no role >
and [..] Thomas Compton< no role > came together to this Informants [..]
