The Informations of Mary Wife of Stephen
Le Cler< no role > of Grafton Street Soho Carter Taken
the 2nd. day of January 1783.

Who upon her Oath Saith That on Saturday Night last
about the hour of 12. o Clock She was alarmed as She lay
in Bed and informed That her house had been Broke
open and robbed That She immediately got up and found
that the Lodging room door of Mary Thompson< no role > had been
broke open and also that a White Counterpane and One
Linnen Sheet her Husbands property had been Stolen
away And this Informant Saith That She verily
believes the House must have been Entered by a false Key
She having Locked the Door at the time She went to
Bad, That the Counterpane and Linnen Sheet now
produced are her said Husband property and the same
that were Stolen as aforesaid
