First the said Mary Webb< no role >
for herself Saith That She is
a Mantua Maker
and That on Sundaythe 29th. day of Decr.
last one Elizabeth Carter< no role >
(now in Custody) brought to her this
Informant the petticoat now produced and gave her directions to
Make the same into a Gown which She did and Returned the
same to her the same day
And this Information John Gough< no role >
for himself
Saith That he is Servant to Mr. Dobree a pawn broker
in Holborn and That on Monday the 30th. of December last
he this Informant Took in Pledge the abovementioned Gown
of the said Elizabeth Carter< no role >
(as he verily believes) and That
he lent her on the Same Ten Shillings and Six pence
And this Informant Mary Thompson< no role >
for herself Saith
That the Gown now produced was formerly a pettycoat and
is her own property and was Stolen from and out of her
Lodging Room in the Dwelling house of Stephen Le Cler
in Grafton Street< no role >
Soho on the Evening of the 28th. of
December last.
