The Information of Eleanor Mills< no role >
Wife of David Mills< no role > taken before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the
peace acting in and for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that she
lives Servant at the Blakeney's head (a public
house) in Cable Street Rosemary Lane that one
Sunday night the 15th of December instant she
carried a pot of Beer and Silver for half a
Guinea to a house in the said Street that she
delivered the Silver and took the half Guinea
but her hands being cold she puts the sd. half
Guinea upon the Table in the sd House whilst
she warned herself that being in a hurry
she ran out of the house and left the
half Guinea lying upon the Table but
had not gone far before she remembered
she had le first and went back to look [..]
for it but could not find it, And this
Informant further saith that at the time and
during the whole of the aforesd, Transaction
there was no other Persons there but the two
Persons now present who call themselves
Ann Gould< no role > and Mary Somers< no role > except the Man
who gave her the half Guinea and who is a
foreigner and cannot speak English and whom this Informt. doth not suspect from which
Circumstances this Informant upon her Oath
verily believes that the said Ann Gould< no role > and
Mary Somers< no role > are the only persons who feloniously
took and Carried away the half Guinea as aforesd.
