The Information of Farrell Mackone of Crown
Court Rosemary Lane in the County of Middlesex
Dealer in Old Cloaths taken on Oath beforemeno
John Staples< no role > & Samuel Hawkins< no role > Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County this 18th
day of December 1782

Who on his Oath saith that about Seven o' Clock in the
Evening of Thursday the twenty first day of November his
House in Crown Court aforesaid was Burglariously
Broke open and the following Goods taken and carried
away therefromhervizt Ten Mens Coatsanone Mans
Waistcoat and Thirty one Pair of Cloath and Shalloon Sleeves
for waistcoatsThat he made Diligent enquiry among
the Trade after his said PropertyThat on Saturday the
Twenty third day of the same Month of November Frances
Biggs
< no role > the Prisoner now present sent for him this Informant
to the sign of the Rosemary Branch in Rosemary Lane
aforesaid and Asked him if he had not been Robbed
This Informant Answered her Yes, and Described the Property to her
That the said Frances Biggs< no role > told him that she had
got all the Things and if he would give her half a Guinea
Down she would help him to the whole of them as she
had lent fifteen Shillings thereon, Saith that he being
[..] desirous of getting at his property paid her half a
Guinea immediatly upon which the said Frances
Biggs
< no role > gave a Key to one Mathew Hacket< no role > who
was present and told him to fetch the Goods from
her house That he the said Mathew Hacket< no role > went accordinglybutand returned
with out the [..] said Good & said that her Daughter (meaning the
Daughter of the said Frances Biggs< no role > ) refused to
deliver the [..] said Goods up to him the said Mathew alledging
that he the said Mathew had made her Mother
Drunk and had stole the Key from her and wanted to
hang them allSaith that he this Informant
together with the said Frances Biggs< no role > and the said
Mathew Hacket< no role > went to Salt Petre Bank where
the said Frances Biggs< no role > Dwells That he this
Informant Stopped at the Sign of the King of Russia
there whilst the said Frances Biggs< no role > and the
said Matthew went [..]
out ofto the House of the said Francessaith that
in about Ten Minutes the said Frances Biggs< no role >
returned with the said Mathew Hacket< no role > and a
Bundle That they all went back to the Rosemary
