taken on Oath before as twoof his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace Acting
in and for the said County this 10th day
of January 1783

Who on his Oath saith that being on his Duty in
the said Parish about half an Hour after Nine o' Clock
Yesterday Evening be stopped the Prisonerat the
now Present who calls himself Samuel Capestick< no role >
toin Rosemary Lane in the said Parish with a
Pig on his Shoulder That on Examining the said
Pig he found it to be the Property of him this
Examinant, and on goinghimhome to his House
in Church Lane in the said Parish he found that
one of his Pigs had been Stolen & he believes had
been killed on his premises from the Quantity
of Blood he found there
