, the Prosecutor abovenamed of the Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborne in the said County of Middlesex
Coachman, maketh Oath
and saith that he this Deponent, did cause to be taken up, by
Virtue of a Warrant from Sir Jon Fielding, the said John Hiegles
and William Hamson< no role >
, for Felony and they were Committed
accordingly And this Deponent was boundover to prosecute And this
Deponent Did attend at Hicks-Hall in said County on Friday the
Eleventh Instant December, and did then and there prefer his
Bill of Indictment agst. the said John Hughes< no role >
and William Hamson< no role >
the Defendants abovenamed for said Felony and attended the Grand
Jury thereupon and was by them examined thereto And this Depont.
saith that John Denmore< no role >
, a Constable, of the Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell
did Attend with this Deponent on the like Occasion and
gave his Testimoney as Witness to the Facts laid in the said Indictmt.
And this Deponent saith that he hath made frequent Appls.
to Mr. Jefforson Deputy Clerk of the Peace for said County and his
Clerks and Agents to be informed whether the Bill was found against
the above Defendants and on the fifteenth December Instant
according to a Note give by Mr. Burdet Pilkington< no role >

in the above Cause his Clerk or Agent did make a further Enquiry of Mr. Jefferson
the said Deputy Clerk of the Peace his Clerks and Agents and
reced for Answer that the Bill was return'd by the grand Jury
but not appeared to as appears by said Paper Writs here unto annexed and said Jefferson, his Clerks or
Agents under wrote at the Bottom of the Note or Paper Writing, All which
this Deponent hath been Credibly inform'd and verily believes
to be true.
