With Nathaniel Hartley, this Informant saw She said Ralph Lawson< no role >
standing at the Door of the Turlis Head Alehouse a Considerable
Distance from the Door of the House where they had left him, And this
Informant saw the said Ralph Lawson< no role > follow them at some little distance
in their way to their Lodgings, That upon their coming to Mrs. Mr Dermant
House this Informant Nathaniel Hartley and Mary Ryan< no role > all three went
up into a One pair of Stairs Room from whence this Informant was
sent to fetch a pot of Beer and brought it, When Mary Ryan< no role > told this
Informant that the Gentleman (Meaning the said Nathaniel Hartley< no role > ,)
had given her Three Guineas instead of Three Shillings, That when this
Informant went fot the Pot of Beer she saw Ralph Lawson< no role > below
Stairs going into the Necessary House, And this Informant further saith
That soon after Mary Ryan< no role > bid her go and buy a Candle, which she did,
When Mary Ryan< no role > came down Stairs with this Informant and left
the said Nathaniel Hartley< no role > in the Room by himself when they came
down Stairs they saw Ralph Lawson< no role > , and this Informant and Mary
Ryan
< no role > joined him, when this Informant told him that Moll had got
Three Guineas of the Gentleman, and Saw the said Mary Ryan< no role > give
the Three Guineas into the hands of the said Ralph Lawson< no role > , which he
put into his Pockett, [..]
Upon which the said Ralph Lawson< no role > enquired of them whether the
Gentleman had got any More Money. And whether he was Asleep
This Informant made answer to him That As to his having any
more Money they did not know And that they left him sitting on the
foot of the Bed nodding and likely to be asleep Upon which the said
Ralph Lawson< no role > made Answer and said Then will go up Stairs, and
accordingly he did go up Stairs Directly, That in about a Quarter of an
Hour after (or less time) this Informant and Mary Ryan< no role > hearing a
very great Outery of Murder up Stairs, they both immediately went
into the room where Nathaniel Hartley had been left, And these saw
Ralph Lawson< no role > and the Gentleman Engaged together and Shikeing
Each other, And this Informant heard the said Ralph Lawson< no role > bid the
Gentleman be quiet and not make a Noise for if he did he wou'd do
for him, And told this Informant that he had got All (meaning all
his Money) And that Ralph Lawson< no role > bid this Informant and Mary
Ryan
< no role > both go out of the room or Else he wou'd throw them down Stairs
Upon which this Informant and Mary Ryan< no role > desired of Ralph Lawson< no role >
that he wou'd Not Murder the Gentleman and they went down Stairs
and this Informant and the said Mary Ryan< no role > went into a place called
the Coach Yard, and there they set down on a Dust Carty That in a few
