The Information of
Elizabeth Holton< no role >
taken before me this 27th. day of May 1772
Who being upon Oath says that about a fortnight ago two
persons now present. who call themselves Elizabeth Jones< no role >
and
Margaret Caton< no role >
brought to this Informant a Gold Watch now
produced and desired her to sell it for them, that she accordingly
went to the Shop of Job Tripp< no role >
now present and asked him what
the said Watch would come to to have it mended, that he said
he could not exactly tell, that she then told him she Lady
who had Sent it would have it sold if the mending of it
would come to a great deal, that the said Job Trip< no role >
then bought
the said Watch from this Informant for five Guineas and
a half
