Who being upon Oath says that he knows one John Jennings< no role >

Morris, one Edwards and one Mr. Martin one Gardner one Backhouse one Baker
one Crisp, one Harledon, one Roberts of Battle bridge
in whose hands he
has seen on Instrument of Steel to make Impressions of a head with Letters
upon Moneyone Ia person whose Name he believes to be Hardy who
lives within a Door or two of the said Baker in the Mint that the said
John Jennings< no role >
is now a Prisoner in the Marshallsea that the said
Morris and the said Mr. Martin live in Nottingham Court, that the said
Edwards lodges in Purl pool Lane near the White Hart
at Mr. Jones's,
that the said Gardner lives upon Saffron hill
& works at Spur making
that the said Backhouse uses the Robin Hood< no role >
and Little John
in Holborn, that the said Baker & Hardy live in the Mint in
Southwark
that the said Crisp lives in Chancery Lane
and the
said Roberts near Battle bridge
, and the said Hazledon at
Cow Cross
says he also knows one Merrit a Founder at a Public house at the Corner
of the Street that leads to Break neck Stairs or at Fathing fields
Foundery or at Fleet Ditch

before he went to Prison kept a Shop in White chapel
where he used the cast and make counterfeit Shillings, that he this Informant
used to light the fire & make the Crimbles ready that the said

used thenusedto put in Copper Silver Gallery Stone
Feather Allim & Arsenick which was all melted together & powred
through a Birch Broom into Water & if the Metal was not white
enough the same Process was repeated until it was white enough,
and then Moles being made of Shillings in Sand in a pair of Flasks
the Metal was poured into them, says that the said Morris used to
bring a Quantity of counterfeit Shillings to this Deponent at the Said
Mrs. Martin's that he this Informant never saw him make them but that
the counterfeit Shillings which he this Informant was stopped with
were delivered to him by the said Morris, that he this Informant
