An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at [..]
Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex , the [..] Day of [..] in the 22d Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third, by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroner s of Our said Lord
KING, for the said County, on view of the body of Sarah [..]
then and there lying dead, upon the oath of [..]
Richard Lawrence< no role > , John Glover< no role > , Robert Winns< no role > , Israel [..] Hinger and
John Rowlett< no role > good and lawfull Men of the said County duly chosen and
Thomas Williams< no role > Thomas Wallis< no role > William Keene< no role > Alexander Wilson< no role >
John Jennings< no role > and Thomas Juce< no role > Prisoners in the Prison called Clerkenwell
Bridewell
good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required,and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Sarah Callaghan< no role >
came to h er Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said Sarah
Callaghan being a Prisoner in Clerkenwell Bridewell aforesaid in the
Parish and County aforesaid on the Twenty fifth Day of January
in the Year aforesaid at the Prison aforesaid departed this Life by
the visitation of God in a Natural Way to wit of the venereal
Disease and Fever and not otherwise

In Witness whereof, as well as the said Coroner, as the said Alexander Chrystal< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
