An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at The Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell
in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty [..] Day of [..] in the 22d Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third, by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroner s of Our said Lord
KING, for the said County, on view of the body of Thomas Hogg< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the oath of John Skidmore< no role > William
Foot, James Samuel< no role > , William Gosbeers< no role > , Robert Trear and Jonathan Scallick< no role >
good and lawfull Men of the said County duly chosen And Richard Williams< no role >
Shadreck Dunckley< no role > , Richard Marshall< no role > , Charles Thompson< no role > , John Wave and
William Steed< no role > Prisoners in New Prison
good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required,and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Thomas Hogg< no role >
came to h is Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said Thomas
Hogg on the Twenty first Day of January in the Year aforesaid at New
Prison aforesaid departed this Life by excessive Drinking

In Witness whereof, as well as the said Coroner, as the said John Skidmore< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
