is to say) at the parish of Saint Mary at Hill
in the Ward of Billingsgate
in London
aforesaid on the twenty third day of November in the thirty seventh year of the
reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great Britain
France and Ireland King Defender of the faith & so forth

on view of the body of a Man whose name to the
Jurors is unknown now here lying dead by the oath of George

Bull good and lawful men of the City of London
aforesaid who being now here duly
chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in
what manner the said man whose name to the Jurors aforesaid is unknown came
to his death say upon their oath that the said man whose name to the Jurors aforesaid
is unknown on the twenty second day of November in the year aforesaid being in and
on board of a certain vessell then lying and being in the River of Thames
It so
happened that the said Man whose name to the Jurors aforesaid is unknown accidentally
casually and by misfortune fell from and out of the said Vessell into the said River
and in and with the Waters of the said River was then and there suffocated and
drowned of which said suffocation and drowning the said man whose name to the
Jurors aforesaid is unknown did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon
their oath aforesaid do say that the said Man whose name to the said Jurors in unknown
in manner and by the means aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune was
suffocated and drowned In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said

in their presence have to this Inquisition set their hands and seals the day
