Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 21st. day of October 1796 on view
of the body of William Prudence< no role > now here
lying Dead

Clark Hilliard< no role > a Prisoner in Newgate make oath
that he hath known the deced WilliamJohnPrudence< no role > since
the 18th. instant when he came into the Sick Ward itt where
Deponent attends ill with a Fever that he continued very
ill all that Day and the next until about ten in the
Morning when he departed this Lifethat the Doctor
of the Gaol attended a him and Dept. has no doubt
the aforesaid Complaint occasioned his Death
