Informations of Witnesses taken as the parish of Saint
Sepulchre in the ward of Farringdon without in London
aforesaid on the 5th day of March 1792 on view of the
Body of Martha Clayton< no role > now here lying dead.

Samuel Clayton< no role > of Bullhard Court Coro Lane Labours who being on his
Oath smith that on Saturday last about twelve [..] Noon Dept. returned
home to Dinner when Dept Found the door of the Room where Dept and
his wife lodged locked that Dept sayed Pat why dont you Open the door
receiving no answer Dept bunt open the Door and Found the dead
lying on her right side on the Bed within Razor in her right had and
Dept. observed her Throat to be wit upon which Dept. immediately alarmed
his Landlord who lives below stain who came to his assistance that
at the time the Dept. brent open she Door the dead was quite deced that
the deced was very apt. to drink and was in liquor on the night before

who being on his Oath saith that the deced and his Husband the last
Witness lodged in his House That on Saturday best near twelve at
Noon Dept. being at week heard a Voice Cryscot Mr Jefferys three
times Dept. opened the Door and saw Samuel Clayton< no role > the last
Witness on the stairs who sayed she has but her Throat Dept.
immediately ansewered who he answered my wife for God sicks
stop up that Depend at called [..] in some of the neighbour and
sound into the apartment of the deced when he observed a great
quantity of blody at the Foat of the Bed and [..] the deced lying
on the Bed wish a Razor in her right hand and her Throat Cat
