An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London, that is to say at the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate in the Ward of Bishopsgate without in London aforesaid on the Twenty eight [..]
day of June in the Thirteeth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great
Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith Etc. before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our
said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of Rose Doyel now
here lying dead by the oath of Richard Chambers< no role > , John Clinch< no role > , Jacob Savage< no role > , william Battersby< no role > , John
Johnson, William Buckstone< no role > , John Leathwaite< no role > , George Hughes< no role > , John Marplay< no role > , William Mirch< no role > ,John
James Pike< no role > , John Thomas< no role > , George Laugdon< no role > , John Comptons< no role > William How< no role > , John Taylor< no role > and Joseph Barman
good and lawful men of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to enquire
for own said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Rose Doyal came to her Death say upon
their Oath that the said Rose Doyel< no role > on the Twenty sixth day of June in the Year aforesaid being on the landing
place of a certain two pair of Stairs in acertain Dwelling house situate in the parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid is so [..]
happened that the said Rose Doyel accidentally casually and by misfortune did violently fall from the said
landing place down the said Stavis and to and upon the said Stavis y means whereof the said Rose
Doyel did then and there received one mortal bruise and dislocation of the neck of the said Rose Doyel< no role > of which said mortal bruise and distocation she the said Rose Doyel< no role > did then and
there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Rose Doyelin< no role >
manner and by the means aforesaid casually and by misfortune was accidentally killed In Witness
where of as well the said Coroner as the said Richard Chambers< no role > the foreman of the said Jurors on behalf
[..] himself and the rest of his Fellow [..] in their presence have to this [..] Inquisition set their hands
and seals the day year and place first above written.
